Thanks to all the team at Alterego we had a great engagement party! We used the top function room with its own bar. We used our own music and had some of our photos on the screens around the room. Jimmy and all his team made the whole event effortless and stress free. The buffet was great too and great value!
We would highly recommend this as a party venue!

I hired out your venue on Saturday for my boyfriends 30th and I just wanted to drop you a quick not to say a massive thank you. Everyone had a great night and all of the staff that I dealt with from booking right through to the night were really fantastic and were over and beyond helpful. Matt was great on Saturday helping me set up and testing all the equipment and stuff and the bar staff on the night were so patient, friendly and generally lovely – I really wish that I could remember all of their names so that I could thank them personally too. It’s a perfect venue for a party of our size, it was clean, had great facilities and the freedom to move the furniture around and decorate as we liked was absolutely fab compared to a lot of the other venues that I had looked at, not to mention that we could just leave and the guys there sorted all of the stuff out so that we could just collect it the next day. I still can’t believe that you guys don’t charge for it!!!!
A huge, massive massive thank you once again. It was such a great night and everyone enjoyed themselves – definitely made better by all you guys. I will definitely be recommending you to people in the future!!

When hiring a venue questions that you should ask?

  • How much are the drinks prices? At Alterego are drinks prices are number one compared to all of are competitors. We aim to provide high quality drinks at a reasonable price. We would be happy to give you a price list on request so you can compare.
  • Is the area self contained, ie does it have a separate bar, toilets and sound system? At Alterego we have 2 separate areas that come with there own, bar, toilets and sound system.
  • Is there a minimum spend? We do not have a minimum spend on any of are private areas.

Here at Alterego we offer many different types of hire on any night of the week, from small table bookings (4 people min) to our main function room and entire floor hire (120 people max) or the whole venue (250 people max). All of our room options require a minimum amount of people, please see below for details, (not inc table bookings) and are subject to a £100 refundable deposit. The Karaoke room is a private room upstairs of the venue.

The cost is £25 per person for 2 hours karaoke, in a private room.

Included in this price we will give you a drinks card which entitles to you to 2 cocktails PP.

All rooms will be paid before session starts.

When booking we require a £5 deposit PP the balance can be paid on the day.

Function Room is perfect for large parties 50-75 people, our private function room contains your own bar and dedicated members of staff, dance floor, karaoke system on request (£150 charge), plasma TV so you can show your own picture slideshow and your own private sound system, so you can BYO music and playlists. Make the function room your own with balloons, banners & buffet which can be set up prior to the event.

VIP AREA PLUS:

VIP Area PLUS, This is the vip room and a large section of the main bar, perfect for parties from 50 to 70 people, the private area includes your own section, you can feel free to decorate to your heart’s content and plasma screens are available for photo slideshows. There are disco lights and a separate toilets for your guests. You have your own bar in this area and a dedicated staff member. There is also a karaoke system on request for £150.

VIP AREA:

VIP Area, perfect for parties from 30 to 70 people, the private VIP area includes your own roped off section overlooking the main bar, you can feel free to decorate to your heart’s content and plasma screens are available for photo slideshows. Terms and Conditions
All bookings require £100 deposit (not including table bookings)
For both function room and VIP Area we require guests to arrive by 8pm.
Both areas also require a min amount of people or the deposit will be non- refundable.
Cancelation, excessive mess, guests bringing in their own drinks, damage or clean up will also result in a non-refundable deposit.
